Rick Perry, evolution, and a decided lack of intelligent design

creationism
Earlier today, Rick Perry described evolution as "a theory that's out there," and assured a child that in Texas:
... we teach both creationism and evolution in our public schools.

Actually, given that teaching creationism in public schools was ruled to be unconstitutional nearly 25 years ago, they don't (although not for a lack of trying), but why let facts get in the way of tossing out a little red meat to the base.

But let's look at the bright side ... whenever Perry does run his mouth about education, he deals another blow to the theory of intelligent design.
